Beyond Blue is an Australian mental health and wellbeing support organisation. It provides support programs to address issues related to depression, suicide, anxiety disorders and other related mental illnesses. Beyond Blue's Strategy 2023+ focuses on prevention and early intervention for the next five years.
Early Intervention (EI)
Beyond Blue has developed an evidence-based early intervention mental health program using trained non-clinical coaches with industry experience. These live programs connect participants with a coach using low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques delivered through one-on-one sessions (F2F or TeleHealth). Beyond Blue's specific early intervention program is a low-intensity CBT program with no referral requirements.
Seven out of ten participants make a full recovery with no further support or treatment required.
BB has piloted and administered the New Access Community program for over ten years. The new, digitally enabled EI@Work service will provide a foundation digital product to be replicated across the Community and Small Business service streams.
We are recruiting a new squad to bring the EI Digital Experience to life.
BB is consciously taking a low-code, platform-first approach and will leverage the capabilities of its tech stack: Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sitecore Experience Platform, Azure (identity), Databricks, and Meddbase (practice management software).
The Role
The UX Designer works with the Early Intervention product team and various business stakeholders to improve the user experience and interfaces of new and existing digital products by taking a user-centred approach to solution development informed by best practices, community needs, insight, data, research, analysis and strategy.
The designer will work on product and marketing initiatives and should consider EI's 'platform-first' approach. They will establish a baseline of "what can be done via the PMS and other platforms" and how we facilitate through our own UI connected via platform APIs.
