A fantastic opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic Valve Technician/Mechanical Fitter to support our busy Workshop located in Adelaide.
Main responsibilities:
- Commissioning, repairing, maintaining and testing valves and associated equipment in both a workshop and site environment.
- Close tolerance and interface fitting Understand bolt torque requirements Pressure test valves as per specification.
- Fault find and resolve problems within your area of competence Comply with Quality System Requirements and Procedures
The Successful Candidate will ideally have (training will be provided for right candidate):
- Trade Qualifications in Fitting and Machining, First Class Machinist or Similar Automotive / Mechanical Field.
- Experience in Process Engineering environment either in a workshop or on-site with the ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative.
- Show a high regard for working safely, the quality of your work, accuracy of your paperwork and fulfilling your environmental responsibility.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
- Experience in working with attention to detail and closely following established procedures within and supporting accredited Quality Systems (such as ISO 9001)
