Your Role within our Team
The Valve Technicians/Mechanical Fitters will join our team and will be responsible for carrying out overhauls, tests and recertification on different types of valves and actuators as directed by the workshop team lead in line with company, HSE and Quality standards.
These positions are Full-time, workshop hours are between 7.00am to 3.30pm. Overtime is available and trips offshore or to remote sites as and when required by the client.
Your Responsibilities
As an experienced member of our Team at Score Group you’ll be required to;
- Carry out PSV overhaul and recertification.
- Strip, assess and re-build, complete in-depth inspection reports for all types of valves (Ball, Globe, Gate, Choke, Check, Butterfly, Control, Safety etc) in both workshop and site-based environments.
- Strip, assess and assemble all types of valve operators.
- Carry out pressure tests to various industry specifications.
- Work under own initiative and part of a team.
- Work safely and adhere to Company safety systems, standards or any other requirements from customers or their sites.
What experience you will need to succeed
- Previous role as a Valve Technician/Mechanical fitter in a workshop environment is essential.
- Technical qualification in a mechanical discipline, (Cert III in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent).
- Machining capability and Forklift License would be advantageous, but not essential.
