About the role
The Prof Phillip Walker Vascular Laboratory performs a broad range of venous and arterial duplex ultrasound and functional vascular investigations.
The Vascular Sonographer is required to perform vascular duplex ultrasounds and other non-invasive physiological vascular investigations on inpatients and outpatients at the Vascular Surgery Department's Vascular Laboratory at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and The Prince Charles Hospital. The practitioner will be expected to demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge, skills and expertise in order to undertake the full range of vascular ultrasound examinations and may also be involved in clinical practice supervision.
