Job Summary:
As a Vegetable Farm Worker at TMP Farm, you will play a crucial role in the cultivation, harvesting and packaging of a variety of vegetables. Your work will support our mission to deliver fresh and healthy produce to our customers. This position offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the planting and sowing of vegetable crops, including preparing the soil, spacing seeds, and ensuring proper planting depth.
- Perform tasks such as weeding, thinning, pruning, and staking to ensure healthy crop growth.
- Monitor plants for pests and diseases and apply appropriate treatments.
- Set up and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring crops receive adequate water, and adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and crop needs.
- Harvest vegetables at the peak of ripeness, ensuring quality and minimizing damage.
- Sort and grade produce according to size and quality standards.
- Wash, pack, and store harvested vegetables in accordance with food safety standards.
- Prepare produce for market or distribution.
- Maintain farm equipment and infrastructure.
- Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.

- Salary range of $70,000 per annum plus superannuation.
