Redbook Inspect is a fast-growing business providing cutting edge safety and inspection services, delivered both in person and digitally by a talented, highly qualified workforce.
We are looking for a Mobile Inspector to cover Sydney Ryde area.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting mobile inspections throughout Eastwood, North Ryde and the Ryde areas. This will include mobile and/or fixed site inspections to deliver pre purchase inspections, finance inspections, dealer inspections and pink slip inspections.
Furthermore, this is an exciting role that is off the tools. You will share your mechanical expertise with customers by visually diagnosing vehicles.

Job Description
What’ll you’ll be doing
- Use your mechanical expertise to conduct a range of vehicle inspections for retail customers, dealers, and other business clients.
- You’ll be responsible for contacting customers to book in inspections and liaise with owners, sellers and buying customers about their inspection.
- We love technology so you will be documenting the outcomes of your inspections on our digital app.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for?
- Extensive work experience as a qualified mechanic post apprenticeship accreditation. Ideally working with a large range of motor vehicles.
- A can-do, proactive work ethic and a results driven mindset – you’re happy to get involved with any task required to get the job done.
- We are a customer centric business so you will share this passion too and provide an exceptional level of service for our customers.
- Willingness to undertake Accredited Vehicle Examiners course if not already accredited.
- A current, unrestricted VIC drivers’ license.
- Flexibility regarding availability for Saturday work if required.
