OSMAC Apprenticeships have several opportunities for the right candidates to commence their automotive career, to undertake  Vehicle Parts and Accessories Fitter traineeship. You will be to joining national accredited dealership in Townsville. This exciting opportunity would suit a motivated person to join a very large busy workshop installing a range of PARTS AND ACCESSORIES on new vehicles prior to delivery. You will be trained in all aspects of the traineeship and expected to become a multi-skilled proficient member of the pre-delivery department in this globally recognised leader in the automotive industry.

To be considered for the role you MUST possess the following.

  • Reside in Townsville
  • Have own car and current manual driver’s licence
  • Have a passion to work in the motor industry
  • Neat and tidy personal appearance 
  • Passion for automotive and mechanical including 4WD’s
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced workshop and work well under pressure
  • Above average mechanical aptitude
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Highly motivated and driven to be above average and excel in the automotive trade
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Have a genuine interest in the trade and have a basic understanding of the expectations
  • Ability to follow instructions well and willing learn and listen
  • Ability to follow work place processes and procedures
  • Be able to work safely
  • Be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency
  • Ability to work well in a team environment

The successful applicant will be offered the following:
