Your new role:
As a V&V (Verification & Validation) Engineer specialising in Electrical Systems, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our advanced Electrical Systems used in cutting-edge applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols, ensuring that our systems meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering robust and reliable solutions that meet customer requirements.
Your primary areas of responsibilities:
- Develop and execute verification and validation plans for Electrical Systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test procedures to thoroughly evaluate system performance.
- Conduct tests and analyses on Electrical Systems to identify potential issues and ensure they meet design specifications.
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback on system performance and recommend improvements.
- Document test results, prepare comprehensive test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and reliability considerations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of Electrical Systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in verification and validation methodologies and technologies.
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the V&V process.
About you
As an ideal candidate you will have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in verification and validation of Electrical Systems, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical Systems and components, including experience with testing and validation methodologies.
- Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to Electrical Systems.
- Experience with testing tools and software is desirable.
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is highly desirable.
