What’s a Vet Liaison..?
It's a client concierge. You act as bridge between the client and veterinarian...
To ensure the consult process runs smoothly and the client and their pet enjoy an incredible experience.
You’ll work closely with the veterinarian in providing healthcare support. But that’s selling yourself short . There is far more to the role including:
- You being a welcoming face, that person that greets the pet & client. Making them feel at ease.
- Writing clinical records.
- Dispensing/preparing medications.
- Booking appointments and procedures.
- Discussing general pet healthcare.
If this is all new to you, don't stress! We aren't necessarily expecting you to know this stuff! You’ll receive heaps of training to unleash your potential.
The ideal Vet Liaison will:
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (as well as IT ability).
- Have a natural empathy and compassion for people that will set you apart (and of course like their pets too!).
- Be well presented and have an eye for detail.
- Have a proven history of delivering AMAZING customer service.
And if you happen to have experience in animal care or behaviour this would be a plus (although not vital).
So, if you are a motivated person with a growth mindset...
Ready to master something new...
And can work approx. 35-38 hours per week.
