Vet Trainer/Assessor - Hospitality, Commercial Cookery (Hobart Based)

RGIT Australia is looking for highly motivated and dedicated VET Trainer/Assessor to work in our Hobart Campus.

We have an exciting opportunity for an organised and professional Trainer and Assessor to support the organisation. The purpose of this role is to enhance the students' learning experience by delivering and assessing quality, compliant and engaging training that addresses the needs of the student and complies with RGIT's and various regulating bodies', policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Courses:

• SIT30821 – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

Position Responsibilities

• Follow the course curriculum to deliver and assess the respective course in an efficient and effective manner
• Monitor student activity and ensure they are provided with support for satisfactory course progress
• Contribute to the development of courses in a team environment to foster a culture that embraces continuous improvement and best practice
• Ensure professional development is continuously maintained for industry currency
• Monitor the use of resources and contribute to their improvement

To be considered for this position, applicants need to have the following:

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
• TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• Significant work experience in relevant industry
• Ongoing commitment to professional development
• Minimum 1 year of vocational education and training experience
• RTO Manager (Student Management System) and Google Drive experience is preferred
