You will join a large clinic with a team of 4 Vets and 9 Nurses. Our facilities include 4 consult rooms, large reception and waiting room, separate cat waiting area, separate cat and dog ward, Bair Hugger, anaesthetic equipment, orthopaedic equipment, IM3 dental, digital and dental x-ray and more. The clinic even has a separate entrance for our nervous patients!
Vets work a 4 day 38 hour week. There is a requirement to work one in four Saturdays. However, the Saturday shift is only 4 hours and on that week you will work a shorter shift the day prior to your RDO, so that even with the Saturday shift you are only rostered for a total of 38 hours.
Job Description
The team at Greencross Morayfield has a great mix of experience and enthusiasm. Our experienced staff, both vets and nurses, enjoy teaching and assisting to ensure everyone is supported. We are fully inclusive and teamwork is encouraged.
The clinic has a varied caseload. Clients are included in the decision making and everyone tries to work towards the best outcome each time.
This role would be perfect if you enjoy working in a busy practice, while enjoying the support of a team.
In our team we have a vet with experience in orthopaedic surgery, which allows us to perform those procedures in clinic. One of our other vets also loves surgery and has a particular interest in dentistry, along with challenging medicine cases and dermatology. Our Vet Director has a passion for behaviour and dentistry.
We are an ISFM accredited gold clinic and we are also Stress Free this is rated very highly by all members of our team and we actively work to reduce anxiety in our patients.

Qualifications
Applicants should hold a degree eligible for registration with the Queensland Vet Surgeons Board
