Most importantly we pride ourselves on Stress Free handling with longer consult times for a better patient experience. This means we have a lovely appreciative clientele with fractious aggressive patients being uncommon.
Position Overview: As a Veterinary Nurse at our clinic, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians during procedures, administering treatments, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our animal patients. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to be trained in nurse consulting, further expanding your skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring the condition of patients and providing compassionate care
- Participating in rehabilitation services, including hydro treadmill and laser therapy
- Collaborating with the veterinary team to deliver exceptional service to our clients and their pets
Qualifications:
- Certification or diploma in veterinary nursing
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred
- Passion for animal welfare and dedication to providing the highest standard of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a non-judgmental and supportive way
