Position Overview: As a Veterinary Nurse at Clyde Veterinary Hospital, you will play a crucial role in assisting our veterinarians, providing excellent patient care, and ensuring a positive experience for both clients and their pets. This is a very hands-on role where you will be actively involved in various aspects of veterinary care, including:
- Assisting with a wide range of surgeries and medical procedures
- Monitoring and caring for hospitalized patients
- Conducting laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
- Providing hands-on support to veterinarians during examinations and consultations
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Educating clients on proper pet care and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Nurse
- Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
