Located in Melbourne’s southeast along the Mornington Peninsula, Seaford Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1987 and is a partner clinic to Carrum Downs Veterinary Hospital. Seaford and Carrum Downs Hospitals have been serving the community for over 25 years. Seaford provides professional and high standard health care to dogs, cats, exotic pets and wildlife.
Seaford Vet Hospital has a well-equipped operating theatre with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment. With fully equipped examination rooms, diagnostic machines and pharmaceutical stores we provide on-the-spot assistance for nearly all pet health and medical needs.
The Opportunity
We are currently looking for our next star Veterinary Nurse to join our team on a casual basis. As a Vet Nurse with Seaford, you will be actively involved in supporting our Vets with patient care and consults, and with shifts rotating between surgery, hospital, consults and reception – no two days are the same!
We currently require coverage for Monday 12pm to 6pm, Tuesday 9am to 4pm, Thursday 8-4pm, and every second Saturday
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have prior experience as a Veterinary Nurse.
- Cert IV Vet Nursing would be beneficial, however not essential.
- Be passionate about providing the highest levels of patient and client care.
- Have exceptional communication skills to build relationships with our clients.
- An eye for detail, a good work ethic and a willingness to keep learning and improving both themselves and the practice.
