Located in Bendigo, in central Victoria, we are a small animal veterinary practice only that offers the highest possible level of veterinary care, for all animals!
The clinics are fully equipped to manage medical and surgical cases in the full range of companion animals, including a CT scanner at our Epsom clinic.
About the Position:
We are looking for a part time or casual experienced Veterinary Nurse to complement our team.
We want a passionate nurse to implement their high standards of patient care and have the capability to fulfill surgery, hospital, pathology, treatment, consulting and reception shifts.
This is a hands-on nursing role for an experienced nurse; you will need to have the skill set and confidence to place IV catheters, set up fluids, monitor anesthetics to a high standard, perform nurse consults, team based consult and love all things nursing.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary TechnicianDegree is essential
- 1-2+ years' experience in a busy practice. Well-rounded nursing skills and experience within all areas mentioned above, we are willing to teach, but the basics are needed
- Registered Veterinary Nurses are highly regarded
- Commitment to promoting a positive workplace culture and continuing to improve and grow our clinic.
- MUST have banter, we are a very close knit team who likes to have fun whilst we get the job done
