We are seeking an experienced senior executive to take responsibility for the ANZ and Pacific Islands region of a global healthcare business.
Our client produces diagnostic solutions that help healthcare professionals quickly and reliably determine a pathology or the source of contamination and provide them with crucial information for optimal patient care. They also apply their expertise to meeting industrial microbiology needs and building innovative, precise technologies that ensure the quality and safety of food and pharmaceutical products.
This is an opportunity to lead the ANZ Clinical Operations business and continue the profitable growth of this leading supplier of microbiological diagnostics equipment, consumables and reagents to a wide range of clinical, pathology, and other specialist service providers.
As Vice President & General Manager Clinical Operations ANZ, you will be responsible for the management, administration, and profitability of the ANZ operation including the development and execution of business plans/strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets whilst leading and developing the local team. This will include:
- Ensuring robust financial performance by managing budgets, P&L, and achieving profitability targets.
- Developing and implementing organisational policies to guide operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Fostering collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key customers to enhance market penetration.
- Leading and developing the ANZ team, driving engagement, development, and accountability.
- Leading company values and behaviours, fostering a culture of integrity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Aligning local strategies with global objectives, optimising distributor management for business success.
Ideally, you will have a history of successfully managing a business that supplies products and services to healthcare customers. Other desirable skills and capabilities include:
- An understanding of the large healthcare customer groups in ANZ.
- Success generating sustainable growth and profitability through the implementation of business plans that coordinate with global strategies
- Strong strategic management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven abilities to lead, develop, and motivate teams.
- Experience managing sales, marketing, finance, and field service operations.
- Relevant degree (science/business) and an MBA (desirable).
- Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills.
