Victorian State Manager, Tyre Wholesale

As a wholesaler within the tyre industry, we recognise a big part of our success is due to our talented people.  Freedom Tyres is seeking a highly skilled and motivated State Manager to run the day to day operations and drive sales within our Victorian Branch. We are continually striving for innovation and greater business excellence and are now seeking the talents of a driven Branch Manager to lead the team forward.

What is the Role?

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Branch Manager will drive customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the Branch competitive, innovating, and partnering with our customers to do better business. The State Manager is responsible for maximising our sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans, increasing, and driving customer growth.

This role will be responsible for our Victorian operation, including;

• Developing targeted sales strategies to achieve organisational sales goals and revenues;
• Leading by example in the drive to reach and exceed sales targets and monthly budgets;
• Proactive coaching and mentoring of the Victorian sales and warehousing teams;
• Ensuring efficient and safe import, warehousing, and distribution operations.  
• Driving change, company initiatives and ensuring all relevant policies and procedures are implemented

This role is based in our Victorian office located in Truganina, Melbourne and will be required to undertake some domestic travel.

Who are we looking for?

We require an experienced candidate, with a solid sales management background. You will have strong business acumen and people management skills in order to drive ongoing success. With strong communication and negotiation skills, you will also possess:

• Experience within the tyre industry;
• Extensive experience in people and sales management;
• Proven ability to negotiate and deliver commercially viable offerings to manufacturers, retail and tyre distributors;
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple operational matters on an ongoing basis; and
• A proven track record of continuous improvement and implementing innovative ideas with a diverse customer base.
