Lifestyle Tradie is an award winning Australian owned small business based in Warriewood built on our passion to help trade business owners. We teach tradies all over Australia how to craft their business into a systemized, well-oiled machine that runs without them, so that they can have the freedom to live the life they truly want and deserve.
As part of our digital presence and marketing, we create a variety of Video and Audio content.
This includes but isn’t limited to:
- online training videos, live streams and webinars,
- short and long form social media videos,
- hit podcast ‘The Tradie Show’ (feel free to stalk us!),
- live event promotion videos, and Audiobooks.
This is ALOT of content... and most of it is created in our industry-standard studio right here in Warriewood on the Northern Beaches
This is where YOU come in.
We have an exciting NEW role for a talented and motivated Video & Audio Editor to join our fun, friendly and professional team.
This role would suit someone fresh out of study or currently study ready to learn and start their career.
This is a brand-new role, and you will be working very closely with our existing Studio Manager Ollie, plus our marketing and events departments.
So, what does the role include?
As a Video and Audio Editor you will be a vital member of our creative team, responsible for producing compelling Video and podcast content. This role requires proficiency in Video and Audio editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Pro Tools, coupled with a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and a passion for storytelling through visual and auditory mediums.
Your editing workload will vary week on week, but at a minimum you will be required to edit our weekly podcast episode of The Tradie Show, produce promotional social media reels, and contribute your own ideas for content creation across all aspects of the business.
This role is flexible – depending on the candidate, we are open to either full-time or part-time working arrangements.
It is an amazing role with career and skillset progression for the right candidate.
What does the right candidate look like?
To be considered for the role, we're looking for a couple things:
- You are a current student, or recently graduated.
- You have a passion in the creative arts or content creation.
- You are a natural problem-solver.
- You are nifty with computers and software.
- You have a past portfolio of projects for us to look at.
- You are proficient in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Pro Tools.
- You are ready to learn
- Have a positive can do attitude who is a team player but can also work independently.
