About the Role

Are you a qualified trade/builder looking to get off the tools? 

No assessing experience essential, full on-going training provided. 

  • Conduct property Desktop Video assessments to obtain damage and cause information for additional works and re-attends
  • Complete video assessments working with AJG trades, restorations, make safe teams and other preferred AJG Stakeholders
  • Compile and create detailed causation reports, accurate scopes of works and quotes for new/additional works
  • Provide repair and technical advice on claims and/or repair processes to all stakeholders
  • Build and maintain key sub-contractor relationships, including building surveyor, engineers and local authorities to assist with the technical aspects of your role.
  • Maintain your own administration works and updated communications to all stakeholders within business KPI’s
  • During quiet periods assist with approved repairs and building works using preferred trades and contractors
Experience, Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management skills desirable
  • Provide detailed and accurate scope of works
  • Be able to review and identify problems/concerns with technical information and provide solution’s
  • Outstanding time-management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proven experience in an Estimating role
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
