About the team

The Marketing Team works across divisions to support the business with its various marketing and communications needs. This includes managing corporate branding and the firm’s website and social media channels, along with developing insight pieces that demonstrate our expertise, developing materials to support the distribution of our investment funds, managing industry conferences and participation as well as typesetting and design of all branded collateral.

MA Financial is seeking a high performing, conscientious, videographer/Multimedia Producer to help create high-quality, impactful video and podcast content across multiple platforms to promote the brand, people and capabilities.

About the role

Reporting straight to the Director of Content Production.

The responsibilities of the role will include filming and editing video and podcast content, including the creation of on-brand graphics, special effects and sound elements along with captions and subtitles (English and foreign language). Working from MA Financial’s studio based in our offices in Sydney’s CBD, the role will include, but is not limited to:

• Shooting and editing premium-quality video content (pre-to-post-production) to support the firm’s strategic priorities
• Creating video content for a variety of purposes including marketing campaigns, social media and internal/external communications, as well as podcasts
• Building on-brand graphics, special effects and other visuals for overlay in video content
• Managing the technical aspects of creating and editing podcasts
• Supporting and collaborating with the broader marketing team and key business stakeholders
• Managing the cataloguing and storage of media assets
• Managing and maintaining video and audio equipment
• Managing the operation and maintenance of MA Financial’s in-house studio resources.

About you

• Relevant tertiary qualifications essential
• Cinematography, editing and graphic design skills are integral for this role
• Demonstrated experience in concepting, capturing and editing visual content with creative excellence and high production value
• Experience in adding subtitles to videos – in English and foreign languages
• Experience recording and editing podcast content
• Understanding of computer software used for planning, editing and scripting
• Demonstrated content creator experience for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, including generating ideas to help grow the audience
• Strong strategic and commercial focus
• Creative thinking and outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients across the business
