Videographer/Editor - Travel & Leisure Industry

With a turnover in excess of $100M an Australian market leader and a strong presence in the USA market, Market Direct Group Pty Ltd (MDC) are recognised and dedicated to designing, manufacturing and retailing what are arguably Australia & the USA's most affordable and reliable Offroad Camper Trailers & Offroad Caravans.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Videographer/Editor to join our in-house marketing team.  You will capture some of industry’s most capable offroad Caravans and Camper Trailers in action across Australia and the United States, creating top quality video content for use across MDC’s socials, Youtube and all other platforms.  You will also create informative and educational videos showcasing product usage and tips and tricks for MDC’s  40,000+ strong customer base. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Filming social media and YouTube videos from short 15 second clips to 30-40 minute technical and instructional videos
• Editing social media videos and YouTube shows.
• Travelling with the MDC team and key partners to create industry leading offroad, camping, 4WDing and lifestyle content. These trips could be anywhere from 2-3 days to 2 weeks. 
• Create shot lists from scripts and work with presenters to deliver videos on time. 
• Helping pre-produce content by working with our in-house team to sort props, presenters, talent, locations etc. for film shoots
• Managing the storage of footage including back ups. 
• Working with our marketing team to create exciting videos to grow our brand and following 
• May also be required to take photographs/ stills and assist in graphic design tasks on occasion. 

About You:

• Proven video shooting and editing experience 
• Have a complete understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, and all its tools
• Have an understanding of Adobe After Affects and Photoshop
• Have a solid understanding of social media and what content works and what doesn't
• A passion for 4WDing/the outdoors - ideal but not essential
• Some photography and graphic design experience - highly regarded 
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stay on task and meet project deadlines
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
