The Site
Kipara is an innovative, clean and comfortable accommodation thriving with private rooms and self-contained villas in a sanctuary of greenery, nature and tranquillity.
The perfect retreat for an affordable overnight holiday to the Whitsunday Islands.
The Role
Kipara Tropical Rainforest Retreat located in Airlie Beach are seeking an enthusiastic, friendly couple to fill both positions as village caretakers.
Person one: We are looking for a customer service superstar who is proactive with a positive attitude. Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Reception/administration - RMS experience preferred but not essential.
- Supervising the housekeeping team
- Assisting with cleaning when required
- Supporting onsite manager
Person two: A jack of all trades, no 2 days are the same on the grounds and maintenance team. We require someone with proven experience in general property maintenance who can think outside the box. Daily duties include but are not limited to:
- Grounds/gardens & Landscaping
- Property Maintenance & repairs
- Pool & common area cleaning
With 2 properties and 120 rooms in total this duo couple are not required to have previous park experience, but should have a proven background in business, be willing to work as a team, have strong leadership skills and take pride in their work.
In return you will be rewarded with a salary package, 2-bedroom home with utilities included, 10 day on and 4 day off roster & a supportive team.
ESSENTIAL
- First Aid Level 2 - (Can train if you require)
- Current CPR - (Can train if you require)
- National Police Check clearance upon on boarding
- Working with Children's Check or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to interact with management in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work with limited supervision
