Vintage is a fantastic opportunity for those new to the industry to experience and learn the skills for a potential career in the wine industry. 

We're currently looking to fill a Vintage Vineyard Hand position on a seasonal casual basis, to commence around mid- late February. 

Key responsibilities:

Some of the tasks you may be involved in include;

• Perform various tractor operations, including spraying, slashing, hedging and under-vine weeding
• Pruning, shoot and fruit thinning, wire lifting, training of young vines and other seasonal activities
• Assist with vineyard development propagation, planting and infrastructure establishment
• Collaborate with external contractors for specialised vineyard services and equipment
• Gardening duties such as mowing, planting, pruning, edging, reticulation maintenance, and weed control
• Keeping all roads, pathways clean and free from rubbish and other debris
• General tool maintenance
• Apply chemicals in a safe manner in accordance with manufacturer's directions and keep records of their use

What you’ll bring:

Essential;

• Full working rights – visa holders included
• Good communication
• Knowledge of the region and grape varieties
• Competent with the use of Computers 
• Drivers Licence

Desirable;

• Preferably have a background in Viticultural or horticultural.
