Visa Compliance Officer is responsible for the day-to-day compliance related tasks required to protect the sponsored status and recruitment potential of the business; this position will report to the Global Mobility Advisor and work closely with People Services, visa holders and other stakeholders to ensure that the business meets its obligations for
Visa Compliance.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for immigration compliance on visa records and visa conditions
- Input new visa and passport details into Oracle HCM and update expired records.
- Delivery of high-quality visa reporting.
- Proactively identify and obtain missing information from visa holders and direct supervisors and update Oracle HCM records.
- Proactively identify any potential breach of visa conditions and report to Global Mobility Advisor.
- Timely and accurate visa information checking.
- Provide support with relevant checks prior to employment (for example VEVO check to verify visa status).
Qualifications:- If you have meticulous attention to detail and high level excel data analysis and reporting skills this is the perfect role for you.
- Good communication skills and ability to understand visa requirements and visa conditions.
- Previous experience in a similar role/immigration sector preferred.
- Familiarity and understanding of Australian visa conditions desirable.
- Exhibit effective resolution and problem-solving skills to proactively manage risk and compliance issues
- Continuously monitor and improve administrative, operational and reporting processes so they are reliable, up-to-date and eliminate non-value work and delays for the business.
