Visual Art/English/History TeacherMarist College Ashgrove is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Years 5-12, situated in Brisbane's inner Northern suburbs. Inspired by the work of St Marcellin Champagnat, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent academic and career pathway results for our inclusive community of students.The College is seeking applications from suitably qualified, committed, and energetic Visual Art/English/History Teachers who have a passion for teaching and working as part of an energetic team committed to excellence in the classroom. The College has 2 full-time continuing positions available. We are seeking teachers who have the ability to teach Visual Arts, English and History or a combination of these subjects.Working with students from Years 7 to 12 (English and History) and Years 5 - 12 (Visual Art), you will be empowered to design and deliver engaging, flexible, and intellectual learning experiences that challenge and inspire the boys.Selection Criteria:The applicant will have:
- Registration to teach in Queensland;
- Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching Visual Art, English or History.
- Demonstrated capacity to integrate ICTs into teaching and learning.
- Willingness to contribute to the College's extensive co-curricular program; and
- Commitment to the Catholic and Marist ethos of the College.
