Key Responsibilities
OPENINGS
- Assist the Retail Design Manager in completing the visual merchandising aspects of a new counters by preparing the planogram, category organization and visual elements of the counter.
- Assist the markets in sourcing and ordering of merchandising elements, manage the production processes, timeline, and quality.
- Align market’s needs with regional direction in the presentation of products and visuals.
- Preparation of comprehensive and clear store opening fitting guide for markets to follow.
ANIMATION & PRODUCT LAUNCHES
- Align the brand direction for each launch with the regional vision to ensure relevant visual merchandising outcomes that supports the marketing strategy.
- To consolidate and submit forecasting of launch POSM on behalf of markets based on regional marketing priorities and budget.
- Design and create visual merchandising displays that are relevant to the region’s assortment and marketing needs and manage the production and delivery to markets.
- Manage and plan the visual merchandising execution based on the diverse retail channels needs and limitations.
- Update planograms for all channels and formats by working with product marketing on the long-term assortment plans and track cost spending with every launch.
- Preparation of visuals for various formats utilizing brand guidelines and manage vendors in the process.
- Preparation of comprehensive and clear launch fitting guide relevant for all markets to follow.
- To support the Retail Design Manager to provide asset creation and graphic layout for all launches and related market event setup.
- Consolidate launch reports from markets for submission to brand HQ.
- To submit assortment and planograms to SEPHORA for every launch changeover.
FORECASTING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
- To manage long-term planning for planograms based on the product assortment plan to identify POSM needs and allocation between all markets in the region.
- To consolidate and submit forecasting of generic and permanent POSM based on above, while validating warehouse stock levels to ensure accurate forecast.
- Track status of orders and ensure timely delivery of POSMs to each market.
- Work with logistics team to align allocation plans for markets and ensure healthy POSM stock levels.
- Manage local production to fulfil market needs where necessary.
MARKET SUPPORT
- Guide and support markets to ensure up-to-date and compliance of brand guidelines and visual merchandising strategy.
- Assist in solving of discrepancies and provide technical advice to maintenance needs and store upkeep.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in visual merchandising, fashion merchandising, exhibition design, visual communications or similar with 1 to 2 years of proven work experience working in retail, product development and/or merchandising.
- 3-5 years of visual merchandising/product design/graphic design or related experience preferred.
- Creative eye for aesthetic design; overseeing production and managing the design process from concept through to final product.
- Practical experience using design programs including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Sketchup and Office 365 application (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- Excellent command/highly proficient in spoken and written English
- A firm grasp of market trends and consumer preferences.
- Strong project management skills and attention to details.
