What we are looking for :
We currently have a sought after opening for a Visual Merchandising and Styling Manager with strong Interior Design skills to join our Creative team in Melbourne. Based at our beautiful Scoresby Head Office, you'll collaborate with the Creative Director and Director of Sales to provide VM and Styling expertise. This role offers growth and change, so adaptability is key.
What the role entails :
- Collaborate with the Creative Director on the design and aesthetic of Showrooms, ensuring cohesive brand language
- Manage Showroom and window shuffles, including movement and placement of lighting, art and rugs
- Assist with Money Mapping each showroom, with the support of the Director of Sales, to make recommendations on stock placement
- Develop and update seasonal Visual Merchandising schedules in consultation with the Homewares Buying team
- Responsible for Showroom VM budgets including maintenance and florals.
- Work with Sales Support to order new floor stock, where required
- Work with Creative and Marketing Teams to establish on-brand graphic solutions including Showroom Signage
- Manage the Floorstock list including stock tracking, invoicing and deliveries
- Work with Sales and Marketing Teams to approve and coordinate furniture loans and installations
- Work with Operations Support on sampling tasks for new releases in Showrooms
- Involvement with photo shoots in consultation with the Creative Director and Head of Marketing. This extends to the logistics of the day, ordering furniture, production planning, homewares and art styling, coordinating freight as well as on-set styling
- Assist with styling on project specific photo shoots and brand related events
- Utilize planning and organization skills to ensure clear and effective communication around key company projects, ensure implementation is on-brand, on time and on budget
- Ability to travel interstate to perform styling across all showrooms, rearranging the showrooms and restyling
We are looking for someone who has :
- At least 5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser or Interior Designer
- Project Management capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to read plans, documentation and schedules
- Experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Excel
