AddressCHEAPER BUY MILES is a fast growing grocery business fighting food waste every day and we need help! Due to our exponential growth, expanding store placements, and the urgent need to fight food waste and help save the planet.
We are currently looking for a passionate and driven Store Supervisor who will partner with our Store Manager to lead and support the team in our Cheaper Buy Miles Fitzroy store. (This is NOT a Manager role.)
You and the Store Manager will run a dedicated, hard working, enthusiastic team of around fifteen to twenty food waste warriors. Collaborating with the Store Manager, you will oversee various responsibilities in regards to our store operations.
This is a casual position: Hours will be up to 38 hours per week, including Saturday (3 to 5 days) by agreement. (Saturday is a MUST!)
***There is potential to move into a part/full time role in the future.***
Supervisor duties include:
- Leading an exceptional customer service team
- Assist with roster management
- Unloading deliveries / Stacking shelves
- Inventory management and ordering
- Training and coaching team members
- Collaborating with the Store Manager on operational tasks
- Banking and cash management
- Merchandising and planning store layouts
- Communicating with staff members and Store Manager
The successful applicants will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be adaptable and supportive to the team.
Other qualifications include:
- Experience in retail and customer service
- Previous supervisor experience
- Interest in the environment and helping the planet
- Enjoy being a team player
- Computer and software skills including POS and Deputy
