Your responsibilities will include;
- Plan and conduct lessons for Certificate II, III, and IV courses in electrical, plumbing, or building and construction.
- Manage administrative and learning activities for assigned programs.
- Maintain student records and support student progress.
- Provide pre-course advice, assist with student selection, and conduct inductions.
- Utilize diverse adult learning methods and stay updated on educational developments.
- Communicate with Program Leaders to ensure consistency in delivery.
- Assist in securing and managing work placements.
- Develop teaching resources and assessments.
- Engage in professional development and curriculum updates.
- Hold valid qualifications in either Electrical, Plumbing, or Building and Construction
- Hold, or be willing to obtain, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110).
- Full Australian Working Rights.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and learner-centered teaching.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and deadline management skills.
- Excellent teaching, assessment, and student management abilities.
- Capacity to initiate change and implement innovation.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ICT for e-learning and reporting.
- Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Anti-Discrimination, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement.
- Current Working with Children Check (Employee) and National Police Check mandatory.
