Collarts (Australian College of the Arts) is looking for suitably qualified trainers to deliver our Certificate III in Music (Sound Production) program. We are looking for people with a variety of experience across the Music Industry (with strong knowledge in Audio engineering and Sound Production ).
About the Role
- We are currently looking for a Trainer & Assessor with Qualifications and Industry experience in the Music Industry (Audio engineering) to deliver CUA30920 Certificate III in Music (Sound Production) to VDSS students. This position is a casual position with approx. 4 – 5 hours per week across a full calendar year (during Victorian school terms).
- Developing effective working relationships with students while delivering current industry knowledge and skills.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the training program.
- Monitor student progression and communication with students home school
- Maintain a high level of compliance
Your Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or a qualification at diploma level or higher in Adult Education
- Relevant industry experience in the Music Industry/ Audio engineering
- Preferred AQF 3 or higher vocational qualification
- Working with Children Check
Expertise Requirements
Adult Learning Principles: Experience in planning and researching for the preparation of programs and learning materials, in the identification of setting standards, and well-developed skills in transferring knowledge including the ability to research, select, and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools that would ensure a successful training program.
Compliance Administration: Demonstrated ability to develop a range of complex documents that comply with all relevant quality standards, including course materials, unit plans and assessment tools. Demonstrated proficiency and capability in student management systems for attendance tracking, retrieval of student details where required, and results.
Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability or the capacity to work and provide support and advice to students and employees of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities, including effective communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills relevant to a learning environment. Ability to quickly develop rapport and positive working relations with colleagues from a range of social and cultural backgrounds.
