About the role
Southern Cross Care (SA, NT & VIC) Inc. are seeking volunteers who can assist within our Wellness and Lifestyle Program at The Philip Kennedy Centre Residential Care, located in Largs Bay.
Volunteers have many skills and life experiences that can assist in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by creating opportunities for them to blossom.
We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in supporting staff and residents on our weekly Bus Trips.
Time required
We appreciate the commitment and support of our volunteers and work with each one to arrange the most suitable days and times for them to volunteer with us. Any time you give is valuable, be it 3 days a week or a few hours per month.
Note: Our Bus Trips operate Monday and Tuesday (alternating each week) 10:00am to 1:00pm and Thursdays 10:00am to 4:00pm

Requirements
Regardless of the role or location, all volunteers require;
A current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care, or be willing to obtain one
Evidence you have received the current Influenza Vaccination
Evidence you have received three vaccinations against COVID-19
