The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to work under the direction of the Program Lead.
The key purpose of the role is to ensure that Feros Care has a readily available and appropriately skilled volunteer pool across our service and geographical footprint.
The Volunteer Coordinator will support a responsive and sustainable program that maximises the quality of life and reduces social isolation for existing and future clients, supporting the wider In Great Company Program.
The Role:
- Liaise regularly with clients of the IGC program to ensure volunteer matching, and outcomes that reflect the dignity and choice.
- Engage regularly with clients and volunteers to gain feedback and support continuous service improvement.
- Assist the Program Lead, in the designing and implementing of innovative and creative volunteer initiatives that enhance the living experience of our current and future clients.
- Recruit and match volunteers to suitable roles, ensuring candidates meet the requirements of the role, and the volunteer workforce is sufficient and suitable to meet client's needs.
- Lead by example, as a positive and professional role model.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in developing relationships and stakeholder engagement.
- Have experience using a range of systems such as CRM's and client management systems.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skills.
- Well-developed communication skills
- A high level of computer literacy
- Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Health, Social Services or similar.
