Job description
Volunteers have many skills and life experiences that can assist in enhancing the quality of life of our residents by creating opportunities for them to blossom. We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in any of the following roles:
Providing companionship to residents who may not have family/friends nearby. This may include playing a game of chess, doing crosswords or just having a cup of tea and a chat
Assisting with art and craft groups, bus trips and other leisure activities
Entertaining residents with a special talent (e.g. music, acting, dancing etc.)
Supporting staff and clients on day trips within the local community
We embrace new and creative ways of supporting the quality of life of our residents. Let us know if you have any skills or experiences that you think would benefit our clients.

Time commitment
This role ideally suits a volunteer with 15 hours to give per week. However, we work with all volunteers to set up the most suitable days and times for you. Any amount of time you can give, whether it’s a few days a week or a few hours a month, is valuable for our community and much appreciated.

Requirements
Regardless of the role or location, all volunteers require;
A current National Police Certificate for the Purpose of Aged Care, or be willing to obtain one
Evidence you have received the current Influenza Vaccination
Evidence you have received three vaccinations against COVID-19
