VP People & Culture

Airtree is a venture capital firm with a mission to back the most ambitious Australian and Kiwi founders who are building the iconic technology companies of tomorrow, right from the start.We are assisting a portfolio company to find their next VP - People & Culture. This is a high impact opportunity to lead and grow the people function of a high growth SaaS business, post product market fit, as they scale revenue toward and beyond $50mm ARR.Because the recruitment process is confidential, we unfortunately can't divulge too many details in the advertisement. • Coach, develop, and lead the existing team of talent and HR professionals
• Drive and execute the company's people strategy
• Optimise employee experience through feedback, well being, and culture building initiatives
• Partner with the executive team to drive proactive workforce planning and efficient organisation design
• Optimise the company's talent acquisition strategy, ensuring attraction and selection of best in class candidates
• Oversee learning and development initiatives and succession planning
• Own the full employee lifecycle

RequirementsYou'll be successful if you have:

• Proven experience leading the people function of a technology organisation through a high growth period, ideally from (approximately) 100 to 500 staff
• A keenness to operate at both a strategic and operational level (white boarding strategy and working tactically)
• The ability to lead a small team of people professionals, facilitating their growth and development
• Able to attend the Sydney CBD office regularly (while it's a hybrid work environment, candidates will need to be based in Sydney)
