We are seeking VR GPs based in Sydney, Brisbane, Wagga Wagga and Bathurst who would be interested in picking up a few sessions per week in a dedicated Medicinal Cannabis clinic.
Whilst being an Authorised Prescriber or have experience in prescribing Cannabis is advantageous, training including the authorisation process and face to face in-clinic training with an experienced Prescriber can be provided
Initially the role will be a couple of sessions per week that will build as demand grows - could suit GPs looking to upskill in Medicinal Cannabis
The clinics are face-to-face (not telehealth) and patients require a referral and/or health summaries from their regular GP. No drug seekers are tolerated
Billable provider number required
Initial consults are charged at $160 (level C rebate) and follow ups are billed at $85 (level B rebate). Doctors are billing an average of $400 to $500 an hour
On offer is 70% of billings with a $180 per hour initial guarantee for 6 months
