Perfectly suited to the Gold Coast lifestyle, Holy Ships Austral Eagle and Havanna will take waterside dining to a new level.  With spectacular views of the Broadwater, Holy Ship will offer fresh daily seafood, small plates, and a specially curated beverage menu, all brought together with an amazing service style. Locally owned and operated, with a dash of maritime history thrown in, these perfectly refurbished vessels have changed the game in dining on the Broadwater. 

The Holy Ship Wait staff.  

Will have a passion for a high standard of service. With the customer experience being paramount and memorable, an outgoing, friendly personality is a must for this position. A strong work ethic is essential, to ensure the service levels to guests reflect the Holy Ship’s standards.  You will work as a team to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction. 

 Staff will take orders from customers, serve the food and beverages, offer menu suggestions, answers customer questions, maintain cleanliness standards, and ensure a pleasant dining experience.  

Skills you can bring to the table: 

The role requires: 

• Being a team player in the day-to-day operation. 

• Ensuring high levels of team performance, being an enthusiastic and motivated crew member. 

• Ability to work a flexible roster, including nights and weekends. 

• Being able to trouble shoot, provide solutions to problems, able to learn new skills and being able to use constructive feedback as a positive.  

• Ability to follow policies & procedures, legislation, and up-holding confidentiality. 

• Experience in taking instruction within a busy, high-volume environment. Being able to lead by example and communicate effectively, and appropriately. Being fluent in English, both Spoken and written is essential. 

• knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system on board, finalizing sales and dealing with customer enquiries and complaints.

The required current qualifications 

• Food Safety Certificate or food handling certificate 

• Responsible Service of Alcohol 

• First Aid Certificate is preferable
