Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing tiles on walls and Floors for various residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, creativity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean surfaces for tiling, including removing old tiles, filling holes, and smoothing surfaces.
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into intricate patterns.
- Lay tiles using adhesives, ensuring alignment and spacing are accurate.
- Apply grout between tiles and clean excess grout.
- Perform finishing touches, such as polishing tiles and applying sealants.
- Repair and replace damaged tiles as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their tiling needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and answering questions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler or similar role.
- Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and laying tiles.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
- Creativity and the ability to visualise patterns and layouts.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and have a strong work ethic.
