About the role
As the successful applicant, your duties as a Tiler will include:
- Examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work
- Repairs and maintenance to existing tiled surfaces
- Preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces
- Using cutting tools to cut and shape tiles for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes
- Applying waterproofing systems
- Grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Trade qualifications in wall and floor tiling, with experience in residential bathroom renovations a distinct advantage
- Driver's Licence
- SA Working With Children Clearance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions, but the ability to think as well!
