Wall & Floor Tilers

TERMI Home & Commercial Termi Home & Commercial is looking for experienced Wall and Floor Tilers for existing and upcoming projects.
Duties & responsibilities of a Wall and Floor Tiler:
· Preparing for work through consulting work plans, measuring and marking surfaces, and laying out tiles
· Cleaning wall and floor surfaces through tasks such as removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive, filling holes and cracks to create a smooth working surface,
and general cleaning activities.
· Spreading the appropriate amount of adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles to ensure secure attachment
· Setting tiles according to planned position
· Cutting tiles into appropriate shapes through use of tile-cutting tools for edges, corners, fittings, and/or pipes
· Correctly aligning and spacing tiles
· Applying appropriate amounts of grout to tiles
· Cleaning and removing any excess grout
· Applying waterproofing systems to surfaces
· Cater to special client requests to lay floors in particular compositions such as: granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition
· Fulfil any client requests to lay coloured tiles to create mosaic/s according to approved patterns
Qualification/Skills Required:
The ideal candidate must possess a
· Certificate IV in Wall and Floor Tiling, or certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling with on-the-job training or 2 years post qualification experience, or
· Minimum 3 years experience as a skilled Wall and Floor Tiler
· Good practical skills
· The ability to follow design plans
· Accuracy and attention to detail
Attractive Salary Package Included Ranging from $70,000 to $75,000
