This position is located at Peacock Centre, 10 Elphinstone Road, North Hobart.
Peacock Centre provides services to people experiencing distress and is a 24 hr service.

The role:
- Assist nursing and allied health professional staff in general daily care of consumers including bathing, dressing, feeding and personal care.
- Participate in and assists with the supervision of consumer activities as requested by nursing staff and allied health staff.
- Participate in and assists consumers with their rehabilitation and recovery programs including shopping, meal preparation, serving meals and community access, as requested by nursing staff or allied health staff.
- Undertake the Patient Safety Assistant role as and when requested.
Details of Appointment
Permanent, part time, shift-worker position working 59 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable: * Certificate III/IV in Health Care or equivalent or Health Professional Undergraduate qualification.
