Warehouse Assistant (Forklift Driver)
Tasks will include:
- We have two Forklift Driver positions vacant
- Afternoon shift 1pm - 9pm and Night shift - 9pm - 5am, inclusive of rotating weekends days
- Night shift will also drive Tugs when required to move trailers around the depot
- Load transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
- Operate a forklift to lift, stack and unstack stock
- Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the Warehouse so they can be located easily
- Ensure all paperwork is correct and accurate to guarantee the correct stock is delivered to the correct customer
- Temperature control of freight
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
Desired Skills and Experience:
- You'll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
- Must have current Forklift Licence
- Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
- Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
