About the business and the role
CostSmart is a fast growing business dedicated to managing branded and proprietary products for large corporate businesses across multiple industry sectors. Procurement, Analysis, Design, Warehousing and Distribution services are provided to key contracted long term clients.
We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who will thrive in a vibrant and diverse warehouse setting. The successful candidate will enjoy working within an open, lively, and social culture.
This is a casual position with full time hours if desired. A permanent full time position is available for the right candidate.
MUST have a forklift license, have experience with a high reach forklift and able to work afternoon shifts (3pm - midnight). Some weekend work will also be applicable. Commencement date: 8 June.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Pick, pack and dispatch stock
- Receipt stock
- Forklift work
- Deliver stock in designated areas
- Stocktake
- Perform quality checks on equipment and inventory
- Regular cleaning and tidy up of Warehouse as well as some maintenance tasks
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The ability to solve practical problems effectively
- A positive, can-do attitude, energetic and looking to grow
- A keen eye for detail
- Good computer skills including basic knowledge of MS Office (highly preferable)
- Manual Driver's License and own vehicle is preferred
Some heavy lifting may be involved at times.
