Are you looking for a great start in the fitness industry? This is an entry-level position and will suit a team player that can work under supervision and independently. Hours are 40 per week, Monday - Friday between 8AM and 5PM.
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Warehouse Assistant is an integral part of the operations team working closely and reporting to the Warehouse Coordinator facilitating all aspects of stock control. Assisting in the planning of resources to ensure adequate management of stock receipting, reporting and dispatching, both equipment and parts as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with delivery and unloading of trucks and containers when received
- Assist in interstate transfers
- Assist with picking and packing of customer orders
- Partly responsible for OH&S elements of NSW warehouse
- Assist in accurate completion of rolling, monthly stock takes
- Assist with management of local transport supplier relationships
- Work closely with the installation team to ensure adequate stock availability in line with Installation Schedule
- Assist with installations as required
- Ensure accurate and adequate stock management record keeping
- Assist in ensuring all warehouse equipment is serviced and maintained to National Standards
- Contribute to reporting of monthly OH&S KPIs
- Contribute to reporting of all stock quantities, variances, delays, pick errors to National After Sales Service Manager
- Ensure forklifts and warehouse equipment is maintained as per OH&S Policies, procedures and standards
