Warehouse General Hand / Warehouse Junior - NSW

About the role

Work as part of the Warehouse & Fulfilment team at our Alexandria Warehouse, you’ll report to the Warehouse floor Manager and work closely with the rest of the warehouse floor team and customer services team based at the same location, your role centres on:

• Picking and packing orders, receiving stock and organising deliveries for easy future dispatch
• Organising walling and flooring samples
• Assist with manual loading and unloading
• Keeping the workplace tidy and organised
• Assisting with stocktakes

This role is part of a fun and energetic team and would suit an outgoing and enthusiastic individual who is looking for their first step on a career in warehousing and fulfilment.

Requirements

• Experience of working in a warehouse environment an advantage but not essential
• Numerate with strong organisational skills
• Comfortable using computers and computer systems
• Physically able, punctual and reliable
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable talking on the phone
• A team player who is happy to lend a hand to others as needs must
