Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Hand will work alongside the MBS staff to help facilitate the packing of goods for shipment, following the specifications of the employer and / or customer guidelines.
What success in this position looks like
- Operating Forklifts.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Use of pallet jacks / trolleys.
- Loading and unloading products.
- When required, assembling customer products.
OHS Accountabilities

- Where PPE is required to control exposure to hazards in the workplace, wear and maintain the PPE as directed, as indicated in a risk assessment, or as required in OH&S procedures.
- Use other safety and emergency equipment provided in the workplace as directed or as required in OH&S procedures.
- Before commencing work, a risk assessment should be conducted to identify, assess, and control the hazards associated with the work. All staff members should participate in this risk assessment process.
- Report workplace hazards to the supervisor and your workplace OH&S committee member as soon as possible after they occur; and
- Report injury or illness arising from workplace activities the Organisation incident/injury reporting system as soon as possible after incident.
What you need to succeed
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Forklift Licence.
- Driver’s Licence.
- Able to perform manual handling tasks.
- Understanding of all OH&S requirements.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Be self-motivated and open to continuous learning and improvement.
- Ability and willingness to respond to management requests for information within specified timeframes.
- Organisation, Planning, Time Management.
- Proactive, punctual, and reliable with demonstrated integrity, selfdiscipline and professionalism.

Hours are 10am to 6pm Monday- Friday
