- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Sydney warehouse including assisting the warehouse team where required to meet daily work targets and deadlines .
- Warehouse work as part of the job may include work, unloading of containers, pick and packing, palletisation, and pallet wrapping.
- Ensure reliable and accurate order processing and coordinate deliveries with multiple transport companies.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and improving warehouse efficiencies and procedures.
- Optimise warehouse space utilisation.
- Control inventory and conduct scheduled and as required stock-takes.
- Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and general housekeeping of the warehouse site.
- Fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability for yourself and the team.
- 4 -5 years plus Warehouse experience including supervisory or management responsibilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Physical fitness, as this is also a hands-on role.
- Proven experience in organising and coordinating a small, friendly team.
- Reliability and a team player mentality.
- Ability to work towards and achieve set KPIs.
- A current forklift and driver's licence are essential.
- Health and Safety and First Aid Certification also required
