Warehouse Operations (Sea Freight)

As a prominent player in the realm of 3PL warehousing, international freight forwarding and logistics we specialise in efficient and reliable cargo transportation solutions, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operator (Sea Freight) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our expanding operations, ensuring the smooth handling and processing of Sea Freight cargo in our warehouse.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming Sea Freight shipments.
• Verify shipment contents against documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Properly store incoming cargo in designated warehouse locations, following organisational systems.
• Prepare outgoing shipments for loading into containers on pallets, labeling and checking against documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimise warehouse processes and workflow.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse facility.

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment in Sea Freight operations. Sea freight handling and shipping container packing (highly desirable).
• Valid forklift license (essential).
• MR or HR truck license (desirable).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
