Warehouse Operative And Delivery Truck Driver

Your new role 

This position is a varied role,  you duties will range across both warehousingand deliveries to enable optimum efficiency across the distribution team byworking together and understanding your co-workers roles and how certainprocesses impact each other's duties. You will report direct to the Distribution Team Leader and be required to:

• Work in the warehouse both receiving goods and picking and packing for dispatch, this will require manual handling of goods in a range of sizes.  
• Stock management, including updating inventory systems and participating in stock takes
• Forklift and Vehicle Mounted Crane operation for loading and unloading trucks
• Driving Medium Rigid trucks from the warehouse and delivering orders to the Canberraregion
• Providing great customer service and documenting deliveries on the ipad as complete

What you'll need to succeed 

This business is looking for the right person to fitwith their team for the long term. The right attitude is one of the biggestfactors to your success in your application. Regarding tickets and experienceyou will need;

• A Medium Rigid Truck License and recent truck driving experience - ideally in the Canberra region
• A forklift license is highly desirable or at least the ability to obtain
• A VLC ticket and/or experience operating a Vehicle Mounted Crane is highly desirable
• The ability to obtain your White Card, Asbestos Awareness and Silica Awareness is you don't already have them
  

What you'll get in return 

If successful, you will be paid an annual salary of$70,000 + superannuation. Other benefits include;

• This client is also willing to partner with you to help obtain the required tickets and licenses mentioned above, aside from the truck license. 
• You will work Monday to Friday from 6:45am to 4:30pm with 2 paid breaks each day.
