We are seeking a highly organized, motivated, and confident Procurement officer/project co-ordinator/V6 operator to join our team for an exciting and diverse role. This role will be reporting to the general manager in supporting the successful delivery of all projects.
Qualifications & experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a project environment.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with V6 experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawing.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate ability to handle work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with aluminium windows, doors, glazing façade industry is preferred.
Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage procurement requirements for projects, ensuring coherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to maintain the project documentation, real- time update shipping circumstances, review project progress update.
- Placement of material orders, tracking of local and overseas shipping.
- Maintain relationships with the team and clients during the project with strong communication skills.
- Follow up orders to ensure material is received on time and per the project programme.
- Check orders upon delivery to ensure the correct materials and quantities have been received.
- Liaise with suppliers to organise credit requests, damaged goods claims, back-order requirements etc;
