AddressMcIntosh Distribution are seeking a Warehouse Operator / Store person to join our small, tight-knit team with big ambitions and continued annual growth.
Our Adelaide (Wingfield) warehouse supplies wholesale agricultural machinery parts to our Australia-wide dealer network which is growing rapidly year on year.
This position is for a diligent Warehouse Operator / Store person who is self-sufficient and able to innovate. You will be given the opportunity to improve and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of our Adelaide operation.
What you’ll be doing:
- Receive and check off arrival of inventory from branches, suppliers, freight forwarders and local suppliers
- Assisting to provide regular flow of inventory to ensure adequate supply
- Pick and pack orders for dispatch, using the appropriate computer operating system
- Recording product quality problems
- Participate in stocktakes
- General warehouse duties
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Previous experience in a medium/large warehouse environment
- Current and valid driver’s licence
- Forklift Ticket
- Ability to prioritise competing demands and maintain a sense of urgency
- High accuracy and low error rates in counting, recording and data entry of parts information
